Hushpuppy Tongues

Hushpuppy Tongues is an ongoing collaboration and artistic research between writer and performer Lena Kunz and interdisciplinary artist Sara-Lisa Bals on the relation between mother-tongues and love: Hushpuppy tongues explores the  the theme of love beyond capitalist linear narratives of romantic love, desire and possession. They develop a polyphonic mesh of texts, movements, and objects that invent a new logic of radical connectedness in context of current times of multiple crises and separation.
